○江戸京都共不依何事御女中(様)方へ御歓書状御附ニ迄被指出面々如前々

追而 殿様御入部ニ付御歓之儀も尤右之通候間可被得其意候以上

覚
一、年始 元日・二日の両日のうちに七ッ蔵御番所へ罷り出て、当番の奏者番へ謁し、御祝詞を申し上げること。
一、暑気見舞い 土用に入って五日のうちに七ッ蔵御番所へ罷り出てご機嫌を伺うべき手筈。右の日限のうちに精進日に当たる日は除いて申すべきこと。
一、寒気見舞い 右、寒に入って同断（同じく五日のうち）。
一、御慶事等の節は、御家老中より御触れが廻り、両日のうちに右と同趣旨のこと。
右、いずれも朝五つ時より八つ時前までの間のこと。
一、自分御礼の儀は、月番奏者番の宅において謁し申し上げること。
但し、御用等により他出のこともはかりかねられ候間、前もってご在宅のほど、お聞き入れあるべきこと。

一、享保十四酉年（1729年）
○初姫様へ五節句の御祝儀、その外御慶事について、それぞれ申し上げ候儀は、御月番御家老中のお宅まで罷り出てきたが、向後は七ッ蔵へ罷り出て御祝儀を申し上げるべき旨に候。すなわち、拙者共のうち一人ずつ相詰めおり候。右の趣を申し達すべく、かくのごとくに候。以上。
三月朔日 大谷儀左衛門殿 磯野多宮
一、享保十五戌年（1730年）
○江戸・京都ともに、何事によらず、御女中様方への御慶びの書状を御附（使い）に差し出し、面々これまで通り書状を差し上げる手筈に候。ただ今まで七ッ蔵御番所へ罷り出てきたが、その段は取り止めに候間、左様にお心得くださるべく候。以上。

Memorandum
Item — New Year: Within the two days of the 1st and 2nd day of the New Year, all concerned parties are to present themselves at the Nanatsu-gura guardhouse, be received by the duty Sōjaban (Announcer-Chamberlain), and offer their New Year's congratulations.
Item — Summer heat greeting: Within five days of the start of the midsummer season (doyō), parties are to present themselves at the Nanatsu-gura guardhouse and pay their respects. Within the said period of days, any days that fall on days of Buddhist abstinence (shonjin-bi) are to be excluded.
Item — Midwinter cold greeting: Same as the above, within five days of the start of the coldest season (kan).
Item — On occasions of celebratory events (gokan-ji), a notice shall be circulated by the senior councillors (karō), and within two days, the same procedure as above shall be followed.
All of the above shall be conducted between the hours of 5 o'clock and before 8 o'clock in the morning.
Item — Personal expressions of gratitude (jibun go-rei) shall be made by calling upon the residence of the month-duty Sōjaban and presenting one's greetings there.
Note: As the said officer may be away from home on business and such things are difficult to predict, one should inquire in advance as to whether he will be at home.

Item — Kyōhō 14th year, the Year of the Rooster (1729):
○ Regarding the offering of congratulations for the Five Seasonal Festivals (gosekku) to Lady Hatsuhime, and other celebratory occasions, parties have heretofore gone to the residence of the presiding senior councillor (tsuki-ban karō) to present their congratulations. However, from this point forward, they are to present themselves at the Nanatsu-gura to offer their congratulations. A member of our staff will be stationed there at all times. The foregoing has been communicated accordingly. The above is hereby noted.
1st day of the 3rd month To: Ōtani Gizaemon From: Isono Tamiya
Item — Kyōhō 15th year, the Year of the Dog (1730):
○ Regarding both Edo and Kyoto, regardless of the occasion, parties are henceforth to send written congratulatory correspondence to the ladies-in-waiting (ojo-chū) via a messenger (otsuké), as has been done previously. Although until now parties have been presenting themselves in person at the Nanatsu-gura guardhouse, that practice shall be discontinued. Please take note accordingly. The above is hereby communicated.
3rd day of the 4th month To: Kaifuku Seizaemon From: Shibuya Yazei
Addendum: As the lord (tono-sama) is making his arrival in the domain (go-nyūbu), the matter of offering congratulations on that occasion shall also be handled in the same manner as stated above. Please take note accordingly. The above is hereby noted.
