但御膳所御用之品者御坐所役所迄可被差出候
一御用状たり共随分崇低ニ相成様可被相心得候
一宿状之分向後被認成丈崇低ニ相成候様可被致候
但自然崇低ニ而相残候得ハ面々用向差支ニも可相成事

一親類格別之続相之外一通り之書状差出申間敷事
但用向たり共嵩高ク相成候儀ハ御法度ニ候

現代語訳
一、文政七申年（1824年）
○この度、半減が仰せ出されたことに付き、太刀馬代・鳥目ともに御礼銭について、御年限中（在国期間中）は半減が仰せ付けられた。
但し、
・二百石以上の面々は、来たる戌年（1826年）まで、太刀馬代・鳥目ともすべて半減。
・二百石未満以下、知行取の面々は、当御在国中、太刀馬代・鳥目ともすべて半減。
・御切米取の面々も右同断、鳥目はすべて半減。
八月十五日
右の通り仰せ出されたので、左様に心得て、支配下の者へも申し聞かせるようにとの旨を、永見小八郎が申し聞かせたので、それぞれへ申し聞かせた。
一、文政九戌年（1826年）
・江戸表への飛脚の際、御用状のほかに御用物を差し出す場合は、今後は御勘定所において荷造り（包み立て）をしたうえで江戸表へ回すよう、今回申し断ったので、当朝（当日の朝）、御勘定所へ差し出すこと。なお、御勘定所で荷造りをする手はずになっているので、御用の品はそのままの状態で差し出されればよい。
但し、御膳所の御用の品は、御坐所役所まで差し出すこと。
・御用状であっても、できる限りかさが低くなるよう心がけること。
・宿状については、今後は認（したた）め方をできるだけかさが低くなるよう致すこと。
但し、もし自然とかさが低くなりきらない場合は、各自の用向きに支障が生じる場合もあろう。
・親類格別の続き（近しい続き柄）以外は、一通りの書状を差し出してはならない。
但し、用件であってもかさが高くなることは御法度である。
別紙の通り諸方面に触れたので、左様に心得られること。以上。

1. Bunsei 7, Year of the Monkey (1824):
○ In light of the austerity reduction order issued on this occasion, it is hereby decreed that ceremonial fees (o-reisen), including tachi-umashiro (sword and horse stipend payments) and tori-me (cash gifts in coin), shall all be reduced by half during the period of the lord's residence in the domain.
Provisos:
· For those receiving 200 koku or more: tachi-umashiro and tori-me shall all be reduced by half until the coming Year of the Dog (1826).
· For those receiving less than 200 koku who receive stipends in land (chigyo-dori): tachi-umashiro and tori-me shall all be reduced by half for the duration of the current residence in the domain.
· For those receiving stipends in rice rations (o-kirimai-dori): the same as above — tori-me shall all be reduced by half.
15th day of the 8th month
The above having been announced, Nagami Kohachirō conveyed this message with the instruction that all parties should take note accordingly and communicate the same to those under their supervision, which was then duly relayed to each party.
2. Bunsei 9, Year of the Dog (1826):
· When sending couriers (hikyaku) to Edo, if official goods (go-yōmono) are to be submitted in addition to official communications (go-yōjō), it has now been declared that henceforth all such items shall be packaged at the domain accounting office (go-kanjōsho) before being forwarded to Edo. Therefore, such items should be delivered to the accounting office on the morning of dispatch. Since the packaging will be handled at the accounting office, official items may be submitted as-is.
Proviso: Items for the use of the御膳所 (o-zenshō, kitchen/dining office) are to be submitted to the御坐所役所 (o-zasshosho, lord's residential office).
· Even in the case of official correspondence, all parties should take care to keep the bulk of their letters as low as possible.
· Regarding residence letters (yado-jō), henceforth these should be written and prepared in as compact a form as possible.
Proviso: Should there be cases where the bulk naturally cannot be reduced, this may cause inconvenience to individuals in carrying out their business.
· Except for correspondence with close family members (格別の続き), ordinary letters are not to be submitted.
Proviso: Even for business matters, bulky correspondence is strictly prohibited.

○ It has been announced that the memorial day (kijitsu) of Lady Itokuin, which had been observed on the 8th, shall henceforth be changed to the 1st day of the month.
