〇御代替わりにつき、別紙の通り仰せ出され候。左様にご心得の上、御役人へも申し通すべき旨。

1. Tenpō 6, Year of the Sheep (1835):
〇 It has been decreed that the memorial day (kini-chi) of Lady Tenryō-in, previously observed on the 12th day [of the relevant month], shall henceforth be changed to the 2nd day.

In accordance with the above decree, Arakawa Jūuemon has communicated the following.
〇 On the occasion of the change of domain lordship (go-daigawari), the following has been decreed as per the attached separate document. Please take note accordingly and convey this to the relevant officials.
