Item — On the 12th day of the 10th month, Amagata Kazuma conveyed that the following dates are to be communicated to all officials (*go-yakunin-domo*) as days on which they should exercise restraint (*enryo*) at the御坂 (*o-saka*, the lord's gate or official checkpoint):

**Rules governing the presentation of formal greetings (*go-rei*) during the five-year period beginning from the coming year of the Rabbit (卯年)**

Item — The New Year's greetings (*nenshi go-rei*) shall be conducted in the same manner as heretofore.
*However*: the horse-tribute payment (*o-umashiro*) shall be reduced by half compared to the previous custom.
Item — On each of the Five Seasonal Festivals (*go-sekku*), as well as on the 1st day of the 8th month and the 28th day of the last month (*gokugetsu*, the 12th month), each individual (*meimei*) is to personally receive the formal greeting (*go-rei*).
*However*: there shall be *o-tsumami mochi* (small rice cakes offered as refreshment).
Item — The monthly regular greetings (*tsukiji no go-rei*) shall be conducted as a collective ceremony (*sō go-rei*), as shall be decreed.
*However*: even on a regular monthly occasion, if there is a special circumstance, it shall be received by each person individually (*menmen*).
