現代語訳
一 十二月八日 右と同様の理由で長嶋道仙が江戸を出発することになり、大御番坂田与兵衛（永春）並びに御徒両人が付き添いとして派遣された。
一 同月十日 寒中につき例年通り国産の一番生鱈が献上された。
ただし例年在国の年には御書を以て献上するが、この度はご病気のため御判が困難であるため御書はなし。
一 同月十一日 ご容体が同様で、よろしくないため、有馬涼及の薬を改め、町医師山崎道仙の薬に替えられた。
なお、これにより涼及は翌十二日に福井を出発した。
一 同月十二日 寒中につきご機嫌伺いのため、使者比企佐左衛門（栄翦）により御肴一種が献上された。
なお佐左衛門は去る朔日に国表を出発した。
この度はご病気で御判が困難であるため御書は出されず。
一 同月十四日 寒中につき例年通り国産の二番生鱈が献上された。
ただし一番生鱈の通り御書はなし。
一 同月十五日 重陽の御内書の御渡し、かつ御家来拝領物の御礼のため、使者藤田惣大夫（重賢）が江戸表へ派遣され、今日福井を出発した。
ただし御書を出すべきところ、ご不快で御判が困難であるため使者を派遣した。

• December 8th: For the same reason as above, Nagashima Dōsen departed from Edo, with Ōgoban Sakata Yohei (Nagaharu) and two foot soldiers assigned as escorts.
• December 10th: In accordance with the cold season, the domain's first-grade fresh cod was presented as usual.
Note: In normal years when the lord is residing in the domain, it is presented with a formal letter, but due to his illness this time, applying his seal was difficult, so no letter was included.
• December 11th: As his condition remained the same and was not good, Arima Ryōkyū's medicine was changed to that of town physician Yamazaki Dōsen.
Note: Accordingly, Ryōkyū departed Fukui on the following 12th.
• December 12th: For the cold season inquiry into his health, one type of fish delicacy was presented through messenger Hiki Sazaemon (Eisen).
Note: Sazaemon had departed from the domain on the 1st of last month.
Due to the illness making it difficult to apply his seal, no formal letter was sent.
• December 14th: In accordance with the cold season, the domain's second-grade fresh cod was presented as usual.
Note: Like the first-grade fresh cod, no formal letter was included.
• December 15th: For the delivery of the Chrysanthemum Festival imperial letter and to express gratitude for retainers' received gifts, messenger Fujita Sōdaiyū (Shigeken) was dispatched to Edo and departed Fukui today.
Note: Though a formal letter should have been sent, due to his indisposition making it difficult to apply his seal, a messenger was dispatched instead.
