〇小童四人、金扇子に花を餝りたるを戴き
朱帕（あかきはちまき）を為し、五色の衣をいかにも花やかに
着（き）為（な）し、五色の花を付たる索（なは）の輪（わ）に為たるを
頂（くびすぢ）に懸て、場（ぶたい）に登り、其索を手に懸足拍子
を踏て舞事、笠舞の如し、これを号（なづけ）て
花索舞といふ、
〇小童三人、頭に作り花を餝り、錦の半臂（はつぴ）
を着し、小き花籃（はなかご）を肩（かた）に懸て場（ふたい）に登り、
前の如く舞ふ、籃舞（かごまひ）と名つく、
〇小童四人、五色の衣を着して場に登り
楽工の前に座すれば、楽工銘〳〵へ小竹拍四片（よつたけ）
を授（さづ）く、童子取て立上り、拍子を拍て舞、これ
を拍舞といふ、
〇武士六人、白黒の綦紋（しま）の、袖を大小仕立たる短
き衣を着し、金箍（きんのはちまき）を額（ひたひ）に結び、白き杖を突
て場に登り、撃合（うちあふ）音を節（ふし）に合せて舞ふ、武舞
と号す、
〇小童二人、五色の服を穿（き）、金の毬（まり）の四面に鈴を
つけ、朱き紐の長く付たるを持、左右に立て舞な
がら、二疋の獅子（しし）を引て、場に登り、獅子を狂はせ
現代語訳
○小童四人が、金扇子に花を飾ったものを持ち、赤い鉢巻きをして、五色の衣を非常に華やかに着て、五色の花を付けた縄を輪にしたものを首筋に懸けて、舞台に登り、その縄を手に懸けて足拍子を踏んで舞うこと、笠舞のようである。これを名付けて花索舞という。
○小童三人が、頭に造花を飾り、錦の半被を着して、小さな花籠を肩に懸けて舞台に登り、前のように舞う。籠舞と名付ける。
○小童四人が、五色の衣を着して舞台に登り、楽工の前に座すと、楽工がそれぞれに小さな竹拍子四片を授ける。童子は受け取って立ち上がり、拍子を打って舞う。これを拍舞という。
○武士六人が、白黒の縞模様で、袖を大小に仕立てた短い衣を着し、金の鉢巻きを額に結び、白い杖を突いて舞台に登り、打ち合う音を節に合わせて舞う。武舞と号する。
