壱両御加増ニ御直被下置之旨被 仰出候事
一同月菊作出精致候ニ付御酒被下置候

現代語訳
一両御加増として御直に下し置かれた旨が仰せ出されたこと
一、同月、菊作（菊細工）に出精したことにより御酒を下し置かれた
ただしこの後、右の度毎に御酒を下し置かれたこと
一、享和元酉年二月、貞昭様が俄かに御登城された節、あれこれと骨折りしたことにより御酒を下し置かれた
ただし右の件により、恭定様より御用人を通じて御称美を成し下されたこと
一、同年四月、貞昭様より懸かりの御用を勤めたことにより、御内々にて帯地一筋を下し置かれたこと
一、同月、御下向されることにより御供として下る筈のところ、御用を仰せ付けられ江戸表へ御残しおき差し置かれたこと

An increase of one ryō was directly bestowed, as officially announced.
1. In the same month: For his dedicated work on chrysanthemum arrangements, he was given sake.
Note: Thereafter, sake was bestowed on each such occasion.
1. In Kyōwa 1st year, Rooster year, 2nd month: When Lord Sadaaki suddenly went to the castle, he made various efforts and was given sake for his troubles.
Note: Regarding this matter, Lord Kyōtei praised him through a retainer.
1. In the same year, 4th month: For performing special duties for Lord Sadaaki, he was privately given one piece of obi fabric.
1. In the same month: Though he was supposed to accompany the lord on his return to the domain, he was ordered to remain in Edo for official duties.
1. In the same 2nd year, Dog year, 7th month: He was appointed as an apprentice meal attendant (gozenban).
1. In the same year, 12th month: Despite having many absences, for his diligent service thereafter, he was given soup and sake.
