繁多の義に候えども、あれこれと心労を致し出精して相勤めることについて、褒美として生絹一疋を下し置かれたこと
一、同月、御参府後、所々の御屋敷へお入りになる毎度、御供を相勤めることについて、御内々で御褒美として金一両を下し置かれたこと
一、同八未年五月、弟留四郎を養子に仕りたい旨、願いの通りに任せられたこと
一、同月八日、三十四歳にて病死、法名智達院独有日法居士、葬所は同上

Although the duties were numerous and demanding, for his diligent service despite various hardships and concerns, he was bestowed one roll of raw silk as a reward.
1. In the same month: After the lord's journey to Edo, each time the lord visited various estates, for faithfully serving as an attendant, he was privately bestowed one gold ryō as a reward.
1. In the same 8th sheep year, 5th month: His wish to adopt his younger brother Tomeshirō as his son was granted as requested.
1. On the 8th day of the same month: He died of illness at the age of thirty-four. His posthumous Buddhist name was Chidatsu-in Doku'u Nichihō Koji. His burial place is the same as above.
