獅子（しゝ）たけに比（ひ）すれは較（かう）小（せう）にして
背面皆毛剌【刺ヵ】あり略（ほゝ）簑（みの）衣の
状に似たり故に名く信人 嘗（かつ）
て余（よ）の為にこれを贈（おくる）といへり
現代語訳
【右丁】
あいさかわ
『信陽菌譜』に載せられている図である。同書に近山に生するこれを乾燥させると味わいはまつたけに劣らないという。
【左丁】
しろかわたけ
みのゆきたけ（西国）
『信陽菌譜』に載せられている図である。同書に日干しして食べれば上品とするという。
みのししたけ
同書に載せられている図である。『菌史』にししたけと比べればやや小さく、背面には皆毛刺があり、だいたい蓑衣の状に似ている。故にこう名づけた。信州の人がかつて私のためにこれを贈ったという。

This is a figure recorded in "Shin'yō Kinfu." The same book states that when those growing in nearby mountains are dried, their taste is not inferior to matsutake.

Shirokawatake
Minoyukitake (Western provinces)
This is a figure recorded in "Shin'yō Kinfu." The same book states that when sun-dried and eaten, it is considered high grade.
Minoshishitake
This is a figure recorded in the same book. In "Kinshi," when compared to shishitake, it is somewhat smaller, and the dorsal surface has hair-like spines all over, roughly resembling the form of a straw raincoat. Hence it was so named. A person from Shinano province once presented this to me as a gift.
