きまつたけ 信陽菌譜に載せられた図。同書によると古い松の上に生える。味は淡白で松茸には似ていない。まつわうしの名前の意味は明らかではないという。

Ki-matsutake (Yellow pine mushroom) - Illustration from the Shin'yō Kinpu (Shin'yō Mushroom Compendium). According to the same book, it grows on old pines. The taste is bland and does not resemble matsutake. The meaning of the name "matsuwōshi" is said to be unclear.
