裏境迄致吟味絵図之表ニ書付置候事
一町中水払之儀者東方者龍拈寺前へ落合末者田へ払申候事
一西之水道者大工町裏ニ而落合末者新銭町伝次郎田へ掃申候得共其田近年者畑にいたし候ニ付大雨
之節者往還筋迄水払かね町々難儀仕候ニ付御奉行様へ御断申上候得者御役人様御出被遊御見分之
上右之畑之内長四拾四間幅壱間通り合壱畝廿四歩内拾歩者羽田村仁兵衛分此御年貢元禄六年酉之
年ゟ永引ニ被遊水道水払之ために被成下事
一年々水道さらへし節者御奉行様へ御断申上候て御組下之衆中御出し被成見分被仰付候人足之儀者
水流に応じ絵図面之町々ゟ出候てさらへ申候事

町中水道水払之儀先年小笠原佐渡守様御代御願申上絵図之通水払御改被為遊羽田村地之内稗田
え水善落申候処其巳後稗田埋り畑ニ罷成申候付水先指支え町裏水支つかへ迷惑仕候間此度御願申
上牧野大学様御役人須藤文太夫様御見分之上宝永五子年九月羽田村仁兵衛所持之内稗田九拾弐間
同村善右衛門所持之畑之内拾七間両え合百九間巾六尺通り水道ニ被為仰付永々畝歩御引被為下水
道堀立為永々之堀端青木を植置候様被為仰付難有奉存候事依之今度水道絵図書加改置候

裏境まで吟味を行い、絵図の表に書き付けて置く事
一、町中水払いの儀は、東方は龍拈寺前へ落ち合い、末は田へ払い申す事
一、西の水道は大工町裏にて落ち合い、末は新銭町伝次郎田へ掃き申すが、その田は近年畑にしたため、大雨の節は往還筋まで水払いがかね、町々が難儀するため御奉行様へ御断り申し上げたところ、御役人様が御出になって御見分の上、右の畑の内長四十四間幅一間通り合わせて一畝二十四歩、内十歩は羽田村仁兵衛分、この御年貢は元禄六年酉の年より永引きにされ、水道水払いのために下し置かれた事
一、年々水道さらえの節は御奉行様へ御断り申し上げて、御組下の衆中が御出しになり見分を仰せ付けられ、人足の儀は水流に応じ絵図面の町々より出て、さらえ申す事
元禄六年酉八月
町中水道水払いの儀、先年小笠原佐渡守様御代に御願い申し上げ、絵図の通り水払い御改めになり、羽田村地の内稗田へ水が善く落ち申したが、その已後稗田が埋まり畑に罷成したため水先が差し支え、町裏の水が支えつかえて迷惑したため、この度御願い申し上げ、牧野大学様の御役人須藤文太夫様が御見分の上、宝永五子年九月、羽田村仁兵衛所持の内稗田九十二間、同村善右衛門所持の畑の内十七間、両方合わせて百九間巾六尺通り水道に仰せ付けられ、永々畝歩御引き下され、水道堀立のため永々の堀端に青木を植え置くよう仰せ付けられ、有り難く存じ奉る事。これにより今度水道絵図書き加え改め置く

Item: Regarding town drainage, the eastern [drainage] converges in front of Ryūten-ji Temple, and the end flows into rice fields.
Item: The western waterway converges behind Daiku-machi, and the end flows into Denjirō's field in Shinsen-machi. However, since that field has recently been converted to dry fields, during heavy rains the water cannot be properly drained to the roadway, causing hardship for the towns. When we reported this to the magistrate, officials came to inspect, and of the aforementioned fields, a strip 44 ken long and 1 ken wide, totaling 1 tan 24 bu (of which 10 bu belonged to Jinbei of Hada village), had its annual tax permanently reduced from Genroku 6, year of the rooster [1693], and was granted for waterway drainage purposes.
Item: Each year during waterway cleaning, we report to the magistrate, and officials from the group come to inspect and oversee. Workers are provided by the towns shown on the drawings according to the water flow for cleaning.

Regarding town waterway drainage, in previous years we petitioned during Lord Ogasawara Sado-no-kami's time, and drainage was reformed according to the drawings, with water flowing well into the hie fields within Hada village territory. However, subsequently the hie fields were filled in and became dry fields, causing water flow problems and backing up water behind the towns, creating difficulties. Therefore, we petitioned this time, and after inspection by Sudō Buntayū, an official of Lord Makino Daigaku, in the 9th month of Hōei 5, year of the rat [September 1708], 92 ken of hie fields owned by Jinbei of Hada village and 17 ken of dry fields owned by Zen'emon of the same village - totaling 109 ken with 6 shaku width - were designated as waterway. The taxable area was permanently reduced, and we were ordered to plant aoki trees along the permanent embankments for the waterway construction, for which we are most grateful. Therefore, the waterway drawings have now been revised and updated.
