指図（づにまかせべく）寺社（じしや）並（ならびに）町在（まちざい）へ振廻等（ふれまはしとう）相越候儀（あひこしそろぎ）わけなくして無用（むよう）寺社（じしや）町在（まちざい）へも其（その）趣（おもむき）触置候事（ふれおきそろこと）
附（つけたり）町在之者（まちざいのもの）少（すこし）も慮外（りよぐわい）がましき事 有之（これあり）は 密（ひそか）に役人（やくにん）え達（たつ）すへし家中下々（かちうしも〳〵）かさつ成事（なること）あらは其所（そこ）よ

一 火（ひ）の本（もと）念入分限相応（ねんいりぶんげんそうおう）に為火消道具（ひけしのためどうぐ）を貯（たくは）へ屋敷（やしき）々々に水籠釣置（みづつるべおく）へき事
一 狩猟（しゆれう）の事（こと）構無之候（かまへこれなくそろ）しかれ共遠方（どもえんぽう）へ行其事（ゆきそのこと）に耽（ふけ）り家業忘失（かげふぼうしつ）すへからさる事

一 公事訴訟等（くじそせうとう）の儀有之（ぎこれあり）江戸（えど）へ出候節（いでそろせつ）は一 応役人（おうやくにん）え可断之（これをことはるべく）此段品（このだんしな）により候（そろ）とも抑留（よくりう）すへき為（ため）にては
無之候（これなくそろ）一 且不聞置（たんきゝおかず）しては如何（いかゞ）に候間（そろあひだ）慥（たしか）に可相断事（あひことはりべきこと）
一 公事訴訟人（くじそせうにん）或（あるひ）は罪科有之（ざいかこれある）ものを加（か）くまひ又（また）は取持等無用（とりもちとうむよう）たるべし無拠儀（よんどころなきぎ）あらは品（ひな）によるへき事

【本文】
指図に任せるべく、寺社並びに町在へ触れ回し等相越し候儀、訳なくして無用。寺社町在へもその趣触れ置き候事
附（つけたり）町在の者少しも慮外がましき事これあらば、密かに役人へ達すべし。家中下々かさつなることあらばその所より訴え出候ように町在へ触れ置き候間、この段下々へ申し含むべき事
一、居宅住み荒らさざるよう心がけべし。もし先主居荒らし候わば、相応に速やかに修理を加うべき事
一、火の元念入り分限相応に火消し道具を貯え、屋敷々々に水桶釣り置くべき事
一、狩猟の事構いこれなく候。しかれども遠方へ行き、その事に耽り家業忘失すべからざる事

1. When serving guard duty on rotation, all matters during travel should be conducted with restraint, lower ranks should avoid violence, and expenses for horses and lodging should be kept reasonable during travel.

Memorandum
1. Even if they are parishioners, it is unnecessary to invite retainers without reason or have them make rounds. Since this matter has been communicated to the retainer band, this should be understood. Even if acquaintances come from elsewhere, it is unnecessary to provide lodging without reporting to officials, or to harbor rōnin. Even if the circumstances seem legitimate, if there are suspicious aspects, they should be reported to officials.
Addition: Fire prevention should be taken seriously, and all forms of gambling should be strictly prohibited among the lower ranks.
1. Ancient treasures are a separate matter; new weapons should not be stored. If there are donations from retainers or the surrounding area, they should be reported to officials.

Regulations
1. Government prohibitions should be strictly observed. Be harmonious with relatives and relations, show compassion even to servants, and ensure that even beggars and the destitute can maintain livelihoods appropriate to their station. Leading figures in each town and village should ensure there are no homeless people without shelter.
1. Do not form factions or engage in various disputes and schemes.
1. Stipend recipients should not commit improper acts against anyone, no matter how lowly.
1. When traveling to distant places on business, permission should be obtained from the leading figures of that area. If there are disputes with other domains and it becomes necessary to go to Edo, this should be reported to the respective local and town officials before departing.
