一目付共折々広敷え罷越被火之元可申付候風吹候節は猶以火之元大切ニ可申付候事
一内田宇平次儀留主之内者広敷向之用事書物等佐野恵左衛門可申付候若故障之節はいつれニても勘
定人之内恵左衛門用向之書物為勤可申候尤書物之儀恵左衛門得指図不依何事違背不仕様可申付候

一広敷より出候切手事は楠本八十次長塩又市両人出し申候間其通ニ相心得可申候門或は役所へ両人
判鑑為出可置事

一広敷へ出入之定寄々可申達候且又商売人も用懸之者立合致吟味広敷之用向相達候もの定置之外者

一出産之節者用懸之もの早々相集可申事
一山中江庵小池一庵早速相詰させ可申候品により岡山一友呼ニ遣可申候平井作庵も小児の方心得候
用様ニ相聞候間此節相詰させ可申候事
一取揚のもの其月に至候はゞ広敷へ相詰さすへく候来月より一切他え不罷出様に可申付置事
一門々其節無滞何茂罷出候節明候様ニより〳〵可申達置事
一七夜之内は金右衛門権左衛門金助壱人つゝ代々昼夜不明様罷有諸事可申付事
一能程らい迄用懸のもの毎日罷越機嫌伺諸事可申付候相止候儀助左衛門へ相伺指図次第たるべき事
一出産之事ニ付人入候はゞ用懸のもの致相詰之助左衛門へ相達宜取斗可申候事
一出産の悦用人以上江戸え書状差越尤家老中老用人共迄相廻可申候用役用役並右同断用懸の者不及

【本文】

一、内田宇平次の儀、留守の内は広敷向きの用事・書物等、佐野恵左衛門に申し付けるべし。若し故障の節はいずれにても勘定人の内、恵左衛門用向きの書物を勤めさせ申すべし。もっとも書物の儀、恵左衛門の指図を得て、何事によらず違背仕らざるよう申し付けるべき事

1. The inspectors shall occasionally go to the hiroshiki quarters and give instructions regarding fire safety. When wind is blowing, they shall give especially important instructions regarding fire safety.
1. Regarding Uchida Uhēji's duties: during his absence, matters concerning the hiroshiki quarters and documents shall be entrusted to Sano Keizaemon. If there are any problems, any of the accounting personnel shall handle Keizaemon's documentary duties. Most importantly, regarding documents, they shall obtain Keizaemon's instructions and shall be ordered not to disobey in any matter.
1. Regarding passes issued from the hiroshiki quarters: since both Kusumoto Yasoji and Nagashio Mataichi issue them, this procedure shall be understood accordingly. Seal specimens of both men shall be deposited at gates or administrative offices.
1. Regarding childbirth procedures: these shall be understood according to the separate document. The various articles shall be generally understood and observed.
1. When food preparation is needed, it shall be handled by Kobayashi Yogozaemon.
1. The regulations for entry and exit to the hiroshiki quarters shall be communicated to all concerned. Also, merchants shall be examined in the presence of duty personnel, and except for those appointed to communicate hiroshiki business, all others shall be strictly prohibited from entering the hiroshiki quarters. Entry by townspeople for business purposes is exceptional. In general, special care shall be taken that there be no inconvenience in miscellaneous duties.
1. For Setsubun, Masui Hatsuzaemon shall conduct the celebratory ceremony as in previous years. On that occasion, one person from among Icha, Yasoji, and Mataichi shall be present to have various inner reception rooms cleaned. All duty personnel shall be stationed at the hiroshiki quarters.
Note: The same procedure shall be understood for soot and bamboo cleaning.
1. For the New Year felicitation performance, the celebratory ceremony shall be conducted at the usual place. On this occasion, either Gonzaemon or Kinsuke shall be present.

1. When childbirth occurs, notification shall be sent by express messenger within two and a half days from the elders. This procedure shall be understood.
1. At the time of childbirth, duty personnel shall quickly assemble.
1. Yamanaka Kōan and Koike Ichian shall immediately be stationed there. Depending on circumstances, Okayama Ichiyū shall be summoned. Hirai Sakuan also seems to understand pediatric matters, so he shall also be stationed there at this time.
1. The midwife, when the month arrives, shall be stationed at the hiroshiki quarters. From the following month, she shall be ordered not to go out anywhere else.
1. At all gates, arrangements shall be made so that everyone can go out smoothly when needed, and this shall be communicated to all concerned.
