道汽車の窓より眺むべし風景四時とも絶佳に
して特に岩上に登れば遠く衣ヶ浦及遠州灘を
望み又桜躑躅茸■等の名所なれば春暖秋涼の

町を距ること里余、二川停車場より僅かに五町、東海道汽車の窓より眺めることができる。風景は四季とも絶佳で、特に岩上に登れば遠く衣ヶ浦及び遠州灘を望み、また桜・躑躅・茸狩り等の名所なので、春暖秋涼の候には遊覧の人士が遠近より集まる。

More than one ri from town, only five chō from Futakawa Station, it can be viewed from the window of Tōkaidō trains. The scenery is absolutely beautiful in all four seasons, and especially when climbing up the rock, one can see Kinugatira and Enshū-nada in the distance. Since it is also famous for cherry blossoms, azaleas, mushroom hunting, etc., people come from far and near for sightseeing during the warm spring and cool autumn seasons.
