【右丁】は一本も活着しない。時期は三月の中頃より五月の中頃まで良い。また湿り気のない所では石台（プランター）に挿すのも良い。石台の底に水抜きの穴を所々に開け、穴の上に【左丁】蛤貝を被せる。さて右の黒土・砂・赤土・苔を敷き、枝を挿す方法は右に同じ。組み方・挿し方は後ろの方へ寝かせて挿すのが良い。真っ直ぐなのは風に当たる時動くので活着しない。石台の大きなのは取り回しが悪い。そうは言えど小さいのも水が乾いて良ろしくない。水を打つには
