【右丁上段】
蝶は蚕が変化してなる。また麦が変化して蝶となる。鳳蝶はあげは、胡蝶、蛺蝶、野蛾も同じ。
○蠅は前足で縄をなう形をなす。よって虫偏に「縄」の字を書く。腐った灰の内から生ずる。
○金亀（たまむし）は大きさがナタマメのようである。夏、つる草の中に生ずる。
○灯蛾（ひとりむし）は灯火を払う

ものを飛蛾とも燭蛾とも言う。ひとりむし。
○馬蜂（くまばち）は虻の大きなものである。色は黒い。
○叩頭（ぬかつきむし）は機織り虫とも（補）稲つき虫とも言う。
○松虫は（補）七月の末から生ずる。声は松風の音のようである。広野に生ずる。
