【右丁上段】
○土蠱（どこ）は蛭に似ていて色が黄色である。頭は耳かきのようである。俗にみみかき蛭という。この虫は大毒がある。
○木虱（こふ）は木や竹から発生する。シラミに似て丸く、青く灰色である。壁虱も同じである。俗に谷子という。
○飛び虫は別名水虱という。湿地の土中に発生し、よく飛ぶ。目のいぼにつけるとよい。
○アメンボは別名水黽という。水上を泳ぐ。水が軽いので飛ぶ。長さ一寸ほどで、四本の足がある。

○イモリは水中に住む。背中は黒く、腹は赤く、四本の足がある。
○ヤモリは別名守宮という。この虫を殺して宮女の肘に塗ると、男を犯すことがあれば剥がれ、犯さなければ剥がれない。よって守宮という。壁虎、蝎虎も同じである。
○トカゲは土中に住む。毒がある。石龍子、山龍とも呼ぶ。

○Doko (earthworm-like creature) resembles a leech and is yellow in color. Its head is like an ear pick. It is commonly called "ear-pick leech." This insect has great poison.
