【右丁上段】
○鯉（こい）は頭から尾まで鱗に大小がなく、みな三十六鱗ある。煮て食すれば咳逆（しゃっくり）や上気（のぼせ）、黄疸を治し、渇きや水腫を治す。
○杜父（とふ）はいしもちとも申し、ぬすびととも、またふぐりくらいとも言う。五臓を補い、脾胃を和らげる。また杜文（とぶん）はいかりいおである。土鯆（とほ）、土鮒（とふ）、土附（とふ）は同じ。

○鮞（はす）は虚労（過労による衰弱）を補う。油を取って火傷に塗ると効果的である。
○鱓（やつめうなぎ）は体内を補い、血を増し、虚弱を補い、産後の悪露を治す。
○鰻（うなぎ）は虫を殺し、瘡（できもの）を治し、脚気や腰腎の間の湿痺を治し、陽気を助ける。
○黄鱨（きぎ）は多く食すべきではない。脾胃を損じて下痢をする。一名を黄顙（おうそう）という。

○Carp (koi) has scales of uniform size from head to tail, all thirty-six scales. When boiled and eaten, it treats hiccups, rising qi (flushing), and jaundice, and cures thirst and edema.
○Sculpin (tofu) is also called ishimochi, nusubito, or fuguri-kurai. It supplements the five organs and harmonizes the spleen and stomach. Also, tobun refers to ikariio (a type of fish). Tohō, tofu, and tofu are the same.

○Dace (hasu) supplements deficiency fatigue. Its oil can be extracted and applied to burns with excellent results.
○Lamprey (yatsume-unagi) supplements the interior, increases blood, supplements deficiency, and treats postpartum lochia.
○Eel (unagi) kills parasites, treats sores, cures beriberi and dampness impediment between the lower back and kidneys, and assists yang qi.
○Yellow catfish (kigi) should not be eaten in large quantities. It damages the spleen and stomach and causes diarrhea. It is also called ōsō.
