一つ目小僧は入道に世を譲られたが、なかなか今までのように、まる盆に豆腐を載せて雨降りに柳の下からもものじいとやらが出すような、のんびりしたことをしていては大入道の株が廃ると、鹿の童子が牛の大どてらを仕立てて角棒をよたよたと突いて、諸国化け修行と出かけた。
