は其土中灰炭石灰砂(マルメル)及諸種

正徴なり(ヒュカーネン・ヘルグ)は即火山《割書：ヒュールスポ｜》
《割書：エンデベルク｜》なり是は時々焼石灰化石焼鎔せ

遺体の痕跡を見ることはない。ニーウェル・ベルク（新山）はその土中に灰、炭、石灰、砂、大理石及び諸種の化石を見ることができる。これは後世に至って新たに生成した確かな証拠である。フォルカーネン・ベルク（火山）は即ち火山である。これは時々焼石、灰、化石、溶融した鉱物類、火炎をその火口より噴出するものである。火山は古代には今よりも多かったと見える。諸地に焼山の跡を見ることが少なくない。これがその証拠である。火山はヨーロッパに7箇所、アジアに23箇所、アフリカに8箇所、アメリカに37箇所ある。
