英語訳
More than two shaku to the south of the (ceremonial chair/oi-shi), a small ceremonial chair (ko-ishi) is placed. (No floor spread/carpet substitute. This serves as the seat for those performing the cap-crowning [kakan] and hair-dressing [rihaku] roles.) On either side of this, two置物 display/offering tables (okimono-tsukue) are separately placed. (On the eastern table, a tiered basin/vessel [yuzutsuki] with a stand is placed; on the western table, a Chinese painting [karae] without a stand is placed.)
At the base of the northeastern corner pillar (ushitora/kimon corner) of the main hall (moya), the Bureau of Cleaning and Furnishing (Kamon-ryō) erects two folding screens (byōbu). Inside these, the Bōshi sets up two lacquered cabinet shelves (makie-zushi). (Covers are provided.)
To the north of the third pillar from the south in the southern eave-chamber (minami-bisashi), the Kamon-ryō places a purple stool (murasaki-gotō). (This is the seat for the cap-crowning officiant [kakan-nin].) Four shaku to the east of this, a yellow stool (ki-gotō) is placed. (This is the seat for the hair-dresser [rihaku-nin].)
In the third bay from the east of the northern eave-chamber (kita-bisashi), folding screens are erected on three sides — east, west, and north — to create a partition, and within this space, long rush mats (naganomushiro) are spread fully to serve as the Crown Prince's changing place (kansen no tokoro). (The Shoshi [administrative officers] erect the imperial [screens]...)
