【上巻四十九丁裏】
▲銀本利共に合三貫目有 二わりにして此本
はなにほとそといふ時に
本銀 弍貫五百目といふ
先三貫目と右に置左に十二とをきて
右の三貫目を十二てわれは二貫五百目と成也

はかりはなにほとそといふ時に
利銀 壱貫百六拾六匁六分六り六毛といふ
先七貫目と右に置 これに二わりをかくれは

いくらかという場合、
元金 2貫500匁という。
まず3貫目を右に置き、左に12を置いて、
右の3貫目を12で割れば、2貫500匁となる。
▲銀の元利合計が7貫目あり、2割の利率のとき、この利息
だけはいくらかという場合、
利息銀 1貫166匁6分6厘6毛という。
まず7貫目を右に置き、これに2割をかければ
14になる。これを左の12で割れば、利息銀が求まる。
【上巻五十丁表】
▲1年の間、利息に利息を加えて（複利で）、月ごとに積み重ねると、12か月後にはいくらになるかという場合、
1貫目につき、
1割を加えると 合計1貫126匁8分2厘5毛になる
2割を加えると 合計1貫268匁2分4厘1毛になる
3割を加えると 合計1貫425匁7分6厘1毛になる
4割を加えると 合計1貫601匁2厘2毛になる
5割を加えると 合計1貫795匁8分5厘6毛になる
利息をかける手順は、5割という場合は、右に1貫目を置き、
左に1貫50匁を置いて、これを12回かけるのである。

First, place 7 kan on the right, and multiply by 2 wari (20%), yielding 14.
Dividing this by 12 on the left gives the interest silver.

The method for applying the interest: in the case of 5 wari, place 1 kan on the right,
