　　西巌院様御霊前にもこれまで御許可があったが、以後は御許可、

一　同月十三日午前八時頃、勝見筋へお出かけになり、鉄砲師役長谷川
　　武右衛門勝周、弓師役落合善兵衛義重を召し連れ、野先において鉄砲・弓の稽古を仰せ付けられた

一　同月十六日、先達て去る月二十八日の大目付中よりの御回状の趣旨について、御先物

1. On September 9th, for the Chrysanthemum Festival felicitations, ceremonial court robes were offered through a messenger as usual.
1. On the 10th of the same month, there was a visit to pray before the spirit altar of Kōkenji Banjōin-sama. On that occasion, regarding the mourning
month,
although permission had been granted for visits to Seigan'in-sama's spirit altar until now, it was announced that henceforth such permissions,
ceremonies, and proxy visits would also be discontinued.

1. On the 13th of the same month, at around 8 o'clock, [the lord] went out to the Katsumi area, taking along gunsmith Hasegawa
Buemon Katsushū and bowyer Ochiai Zenbē Yoshishige, and ordered rifle and archery practice in the fields.
　　Note: Both Buemon and Zenbē successfully shot one pair of mallard ducks each.
