現代語訳

一、正月三日、御謡初の御祝儀として、御使者を通じて例年通り御杯台・御酒代を献上した
一、同月七日、若菜の御祝儀として、御使者を通じて例年通り御肴（鯛）を献上した
一、同月十一日、昨年末の御所務取立方が良好だった御代官に対し、次の通り書付を以て御家老酒井玄番知房が申し渡した

　　　昨年末の御所務について、そなたの支配下で年内請合の分を残らず取り立て、その上少々の取り入れもあったとのこと。加えて困窮の時節に散田なども申し付けなかった段、この度の良い取り扱いのことが御聴に達すれば、御機嫌良く思召されるであろう。これにより御褒美を下されるのが宜しい儀であるが、当年は御倹約のことゆえ御延引される。なお一層入念に相勤めるべし。

　但し、他に四人いるが、御趣意は同様につき記さず
一、同月十三日、口宣御頂戴の御使者として寄合林主水正殿が所司代牧野河内守英成殿のもとへ罷り出で、御老中からの御奉書を差し出した

1. On the 3rd day of the 1st month, for the congratulations of the first Noh chanting of the year, sake cups and sake money were presented as usual through an envoy
1. On the 7th day of the same month, for the young herbs celebration, fish delicacies (sea bream) were presented as usual through an envoy
1. On the 11th day of the same month, to the deputy who had performed well in collecting the domain's financial affairs at the end of last year, the following written notice was delivered by Senior Retainer Sakai Genban Tomofusa:

　　　　　　Memorandum
　　　Regarding the domain's financial affairs at the end of last year, under your supervision, all contracted amounts for the year were collected without remainder, and there was even some additional collection. Moreover, during these difficult times, you did not impose scattered field taxes, etc. If this excellent handling of affairs reaches His Lordship's ears, he will surely be pleased. Accordingly, it would be proper to bestow rewards, but due to this year's policy of frugality, it shall be postponed. Continue to serve with even greater diligence.
