現代語訳
文化2年（1805年）、出羽国にて大地震が発生した。
同6年（1809年）2月21日から24日にかけて、信州松本領の山中が鳴動し、24日の夕暮れ時に、南北500間余り・東西900間余りにわたって大地が破裂し、岩石が崩れ落ちた。中谷村など4か村および枝郷6か所、家屋27軒が田畑もろとも陥没した。人的被害はなかった。
同7年（1810年）正月1日、佐渡国にて大地震が発生し、連日止むことなく続いた。
同9年（1812年）11月4日、江戸およびその近隣の国々で大地震が発生した。神奈川・程ヶ谷（保土ヶ谷）あたりで特にひどく、民家が破壊された。
文政2年（1819年）6月12日、京都および伊勢・美濃あたりで大地震が発生した。
同5年（1822年）閏正月16日から19日にかけて、蝦夷地（北海道）で大地震が発生し、150余度に及んだ。

In the 2nd year of Bunka (1805), a great earthquake struck Dewa Province.
In the 6th year of the same era (1809), from the 21st to the 24th day of the 2nd month, the mountains of the Matsumoto domain in Shinano Province rumbled and shook. At dusk on the 24th, the earth cracked and split over an area extending more than 500 ken from north to south and more than 900 ken from east to west, with rocks crumbling and collapsing. Four villages including Nakatani Village, along with six branch settlements, and 27 houses, together with the surrounding fields, sank into the ground. There were no human casualties.
In the 7th year (1810), on the 1st day of the 1st month, a great earthquake struck Sado Province and continued without cease for several consecutive days.
In the 9th year (1812), on the 4th day of the 11th month, a great earthquake struck Edo and the surrounding provinces. The damage was particularly severe around Kanagawa and Hodogaya, where many private homes were destroyed.
In the 2nd year of Bunsei (1819), on the 12th day of the 6th month, a great earthquake struck Kyoto and the surrounding areas of Ise and Mino Provinces.
In the 5th year of the same era (1822), from the 16th to the 19th day of the intercalary 1st month, a great earthquake struck Ezo (Hokkaido), occurring more than 150 times in total.
