現代語訳
文化二年（1805年）、出羽国で大地震が起きた。
同六年（1809年）二月二十一日から二十四日にかけて、信州松本領の山中が鳴動し、二十四日の暮れ方に、南北五百間余り・東西九百間余りの範囲で大地が破裂し、岩石が崩れ落ちた。中谷村をはじめとする四か村および枝郷六か所において、家屋二十七軒が田畑ごと窪んで陥没したが、人的被害はなかった。
同七年（1810年）正月朔日、佐渡国で大地震が起き、連日止まなかった。
同九年（1812年）十一月四日、江戸およびその近国で大地震が起き、神奈川・程ヶ谷あたりでは特にひどく、民家が倒壊・破裂した。
文政二年（1819年）六月十二日、京都および伊勢・美濃あたりで大地震が起きた。
同五年（1822年）閏正月十六日から十九日にいたるまで、蝦夷地で大地震が百五十余度にわたって起きた。

In the second year of Bunka [1805 CE], a great earthquake struck Dewa Province.
From the twenty-first to the twenty-fourth day of the second month of the sixth year [of Bunka, 1809 CE], the mountains of the Matsumoto domain in Shinano Province rumbled and shook. At dusk on the twenty-fourth day, the ground cracked and burst open over an area of more than five hundred ken from north to south and more than nine hundred ken from east to west, with rocks collapsing and crumbling. In four villages, including Nakatani Village, and six branch settlements, twenty-seven houses along with their fields sank and subsided into the ground; however, there were no human casualties.
On the first day of the first month of the seventh year [of Bunka, 1810 CE], a great earthquake struck Sado Province and continued without cease for several consecutive days.
On the fourth day of the eleventh month of the ninth year [of Bunka, 1812 CE], a great earthquake struck Edo and the surrounding provinces. The area around Kanagawa and Hodogaya was particularly severely affected, with residential houses collapsing and breaking apart.
On the twelfth day of the sixth month of the second year of Bunsei [1819 CE], a great earthquake struck Kyoto and the surrounding areas of Ise and Mino Provinces.
From the sixteenth to the nineteenth day of the intercalary first month of the fifth year [of Bunsei, 1822 CE], a great earthquake struck Ezo, occurring more than one hundred and fifty times in total.
