九十五代
後醍醐天皇の正中元年（甲子）十一月、大地震が起き、近江国の竹生島が中ほどから裂けて湖に沈んだ。
百四代
後土御門院の明応七年（戊午）六月、諸国に大地震があり、多武峯の大織冠（藤原鎌足）の像が崩れた。
百五代
後柏原院の永正七年（庚午）八月七日より大地震が七十五日間続いて揺れた。民家はもちろん、各地の神社・仏閣がことごとく崩れ、遠州の陸地三十余丁が海となった。これが「今切」と呼ばれるものである。
百八代
後陽成院の文禄四年（乙未）七月、大地震が起き、空が暗くなり毛のような雨が降った。十二日の夜、山城・大和・河内・摂津・近江・丹波が激しく震え、伏見桃山城、洛中の東大仏をはじめ、民家はもちろん、寺社・山岳の倒れ崩れる音は大雷のようであった。
おおよそ允恭天皇以来、この他にも大地震があったとはいえ、すべてを数え上げる暇もなく、ただ格別の大地震のみを記す。近いところでは、
〇寛永七年（庚午）正月、相州小田原辺りに大地震。
〇慶安元年（戊子）四月、大地震。同二年、江戸に大地震。
〇寛文二年（壬寅）、五畿内に大地震。洛中東山の豊国大明神（以下続く）

95th Emperor
In the 11th month of Shōchū 1 (甲子, 1324), during the reign of Emperor Go-Daigo, a great earthquake struck, and Chikubu Island in Ōmi Province split apart at its middle and sank into the lake.
104th Emperor
In the 6th month of Meiō 7 (戊午, 1498), during the reign of the Retired Emperor Go-Tsuchimikado, great earthquakes struck throughout the provinces, and the statue of the Daishokkan (Fujiwara no Kamatari) at Tōnomine collapsed.
105th Emperor
From the 7th day of the 8th month of Eishō 7 (庚午, 1510), during the reign of the Retired Emperor Go-Kashiwabara, a great earthquake continued for seventy-five days. Not only private homes, but shrines and temples throughout the provinces were entirely destroyed. More than thirty chō of land in Tōtōmi Province became sea — this is what is known as "Imagiri."
108th Emperor
In the 7th month of Bunroku 4 (乙未, 1595), during the reign of the Retired Emperor Go-Yōzei, a great earthquake struck. The sky darkened and a rain like fine hairs fell. On the night of the 12th day, Yamashiro, Yamato, Kawachi, Settsu, Ōmi, and Tamba shook violently. The Fushimi Momoyama Castle, the Great Buddha of the capital, and countless temples, shrines, and mountains collapsed — the sound was like great peals of thunder.
In general, since the reign of Emperor Ingyō, there have been many other great earthquakes that cannot all be enumerated here; only the especially notable ones are recorded. In more recent times:
〇 Kan'ei 7 (庚午, 1630), 1st month: Great earthquake in the vicinity of Odawara in Sagami Province.
〇 Keian 1 (戊子, 1648), 4th month: Great earthquake. In the 2nd year: Great earthquake in Edo.
