此度伝馬為助成金七拾両也来ル巳冬より
寅冬迄十ケ年納年賦済拝借御聞済被
仰付難有仕合奉存候右ニ付拝借証文江年限
中急度上納可為仕奥印御調印被下候ニ付而者
右金子身元慥成者江私共ゟ貸附往々不一方
伝馬助成ニ仕度心願ニ御座候間上納滞等決而不仕候
然ル上者各方江も御迷惑筋毛頭相掛申間敷候
為後日之一札差上申候所仍如件

差し出し申す一札の事

この度、伝馬助成金として七十両を、来る己の冬から寅の冬まで十か年の年賦払いにて拝借することをお聞き届けいただき、仰せ付けられましたこと、ありがたい仕合わせと存じ上げております。右につきまして、拝借証文に年限中は必ず上納いたすということで奥印をご調印くださいましたが、右の金子は身元確かな者に私どもから貸し付け、将来にわたり専ら伝馬助成に用いたいとの心願でございますので、上納の滞りなどは決していたしません。そうであれば、各方面にもご迷惑をおかけすることは毛頭ございません。後日のための一札を差し上げます。よって件の如く。

Document of Commitment

Regarding the post-horse assistance fund of seventy ryo that we have been permitted to borrow on installment payments over ten years from the coming winter of the Tsuchinoto-Mi year to the winter of the Mizunoe-Tora year, we are most grateful for this favorable arrangement that has been approved and granted to us.

In connection with this matter, you have provided your official seal on the loan certificate confirming that we will make payments without fail during the specified period. We pledge that this money will be lent only to persons of reliable character and will be used exclusively for post-horse assistance as per our sincere intention. Therefore, we will never default on our payments. Under these circumstances, we will cause no trouble whatsoever to any parties concerned. We submit this written pledge for future reference. Thus stated.
