一 同日弐人少ニ付御供等ニも被召連時ニ取格式不相当之

一 同四年辛亥（1851年）六月十三日、在番を御免となった

一 同五年壬子（1852年）正月十五日、御旧格の通り中小性御雇勤御次番を仰せ付けられ、向後御用人支配となった

一 同六年癸丑（1853年）六月十一日、この度相州浦賀に異国船が現れたため、江戸表まで御要害のため差し出されることになり、明朝までに出立するよう通達があった

一 同月十八日、異国船渡来により御要害のため臨時出府を仰せ付けられたところ、早々に出立し参上したのは大儀であったと思し召されたため、御吸物御酒を下された

一 同年八月十八日、御要害のため矢砲録仕立てを度々仰せ付けられたところ、出精したのは大儀であったと思し召されたため、御吸物御酒を下された

一 同年十一月十二日、来正月中に江戸表大森村地先で公儀において御町場御手限にて町打ちを仰せ付けられたところ、兼々執心のことであったため、稽古のために出府を仰せ付けられた

一 同月十三日、当夏異国船渡来により海岸防御があったため、この上御要害のために両流砲術申談師範の面々の心付けがもっともな心得方であると御満足に思し召されたため、御吸物御酒を下された

一 同年十二月十五日、御広間御雇勤御番方助番を仰せ付けられた

一 同日、二人少ないため御供等にも召し連れられ、時に応じて格式に相当しない勤め方を召し使われることもあり得る。席のことは御目見え済み嫡子並みの通り心得るべき旨通達があった

一 同七年甲寅（1854年）十月八日、親の仁左衛門が老年病気により願いの通り隠居を仰せ付けられ、家督を相違なく高十五人扶持を下され、御番方高の順席となった

一 安政二年乙卯（1855年）某月某日、江戸在番を仰せ付けられた

一 同三年丙辰（1856年）正月十五日、少年の頃より砲術に別段に心掛け、この節天晴れの業道が見受けられ、未だ家督して間もないところであるが、別段の思し召しをもって御使番格を仰せ付けられた。江戸表には門人もいないが、それぞれに御沙汰に及ばれることもあるので、斟酌なく指南の心得にて厚く世話をするように、砲術のことを励むべき旨を仰せ出された（江戸在番先にて）

- On the 13th day of the same month: Due to coastal defense measures following foreign ship arrivals this summer, the attentiveness and knowledge of the instructors of both gunnery schools in discussing fortification matters was deemed most satisfactory, and he was granted soup and sake

- On the same day: Due to being short two men, he may also be called upon for escort duties and occasionally assigned duties not commensurate with his rank. Regarding seating arrangements, he should understand that he is to be treated the same as legitimate sons who have completed their audience

- On the 8th day of the 10th month of Kaei 7, year of the Wood Tiger (1854): Due to his father Jinzaemon's old age and illness, retirement was granted as requested, family headship was transferred without change, and he was granted a stipend of 15 men with ranking in the guard hierarchy

- On the 15th day of the 1st month of Ansei 3, year of the Fire Dragon (1856): Having devoted himself particularly to gunnery since his youth, his excellent mastery of the art was now evident. Although he had only recently inherited the family headship, he was appointed to messenger status through special consideration. While he had no students in Edo, as there might be occasions when various matters would come to official attention, he was ordered to provide thorough instruction without reservation and to continue diligently in gunnery matters (while on Edo residence duty)
