一唐船近く見及候へは只今迄は番船差出し候得共此
儀先相止唐船とくと船を隠候を見届可申候尤日本
人ぬけ買心かけ候者相改候番船は唐船見さる様ニ差出

一唐船滞留候はゝ天気能時を見計ひ鯨船か川からの
小舟に大筒打之者弐人程ものせ四五艘程出し鉄砲
にて打せ可申事
一右之船数は唐船一二艘之時之手あてに候若拾艘
余も一所ニ有之候はゝ三領申合船を出し打せ可申事
一右大銃を二三拾目玉の抱の筒にて打せ可申叓
一船之上廻り斗を打申事にても無之候何方成共打せ

一日之中は小船候共商船にかはり候舟をは見外に可申候
其上鉄砲打せ候船小舟にて船数も無之候へは其様子

One When Chinese ships are sighted nearby, until now guard boats have been dispatched, but
this practice should first be suspended, and we should carefully observe the Chinese ships hiding their vessels. Moreover, those who intend to engage in smuggling with Japanese people should be investigated. Guard boats should be dispatched so that they are not visible to the Chinese ships.

One When Chinese ships remain anchored, waiting for favorable weather, whaling boats or
small boats from the river should carry about two gunners each, dispatching four or five boats to fire with muskets.
One The above number of boats is for handling one or two Chinese ships. If there are more than ten ships gathered in one place, three domains should coordinate to dispatch boats for attack.
