唐船漂流記 二
享保三年正月、江戸において宣政公（黒田宣政）が若松沖の唐船を打ち払うよう上意を承った旨が福岡に到着したため、同正月十六日、御館の大書院において美作殿が物頭中に対してその上意の内容を申し渡した。昨年から三領の海域に唐船の漂流が止まないため、今度上使として渡部外記殿が当正月初頃に江戸を出発し、三御領の間に派遣される旨が江戸から連絡があった。これにより若松沖の唐船を大筒で打ち払うよう命じられたので大筒役を派遣することになった。その他に足軽頭・舟奉行・浦奉行、その他唐船追い払いに必要な諸役人を若松表へ派遣して打ち払いを実行するよう申し渡された。同十七日、御館において御目付頭の喜多村弥次兵衛・山崎権太夫、御無足頭の久野善右衛門、右三人が抱える

Record of a Chinese Ship's Drift, Volume Two
In the first month of Kyōhō 3 (1718), word arrived in Fukuoka that Lord Senmasa (Kuroda Nobumasa) had received imperial orders in Edo to drive away Chinese ships off Wakamatsu. Accordingly, on the 16th day of the same first month, at the main reception hall of the residence, Lord Mimasaka conveyed the content of these imperial orders to the group commanders. Since Chinese ships had been continuously drifting in the waters of the three domains since last year, word came from Edo that Inspector Watanabe Geki would depart from Edo around the beginning of this first month and be dispatched to the three domains. Based on this, orders were given to drive away the Chinese ships off Wakamatsu using cannon, so cannon operators were to be dispatched. Additionally, orders were given that foot soldier commanders, ship magistrates, coastal magistrates, and other various officials necessary for driving away the Chinese ships should proceed to the Wakamatsu area to carry out the expulsion.
