順光寺之内登城して立し例にて尓今
此二ケ寺は花立順光寺法円寺と言伝へり
又生花にも種々之伝授ありて執心に仍り
階級を免し席札御花名之裏へ家本と云
焼印を押せり右は活華の初りし由
来成るが其余古来切花の活方は何たる
人の相伝なるか投げ込流の様に見得たり
又小堀遠州先生新規一流を発明
せられ後又是も二流に分れ石州流も
出来て繁昌の由成なりしが当福井に

実に感に絶たる生形水際数多都の
会席見しも是より上手はあらじと思へり
故に弟子の入門追々高弟も増々随ひ

順光寺の内から登城して立てた例によって、今でもこの二ヶ寺は「花立順光寺法円寺」と言い伝えられている。
また生花にも種々の伝授があって、執心により階級を免許し、席札や御花名の裏へ「家元」という焼印を押している。これが生花の始まった由来である。
その他、古来の切花の生け方はどのような人の相伝なのか、投げ込み流のように見受けられる。

Following the precedent of entering the castle from within Junkoji temple to arrange flowers, these two temples are still called "Hanadachi Junkoji Hoenji" to this day.
There are also various transmissions in ikebana, and depending on one's devotion, ranks are licensed, and a brand mark reading "iemoto" (head of school) is pressed on the back of seat tags and flower name cards. This is the origin of how ikebana began.
As for other traditional methods of arranging cut flowers, it is unclear whose transmission they represent, but they appear to resemble the nageire (thrown-in) style.
Master Kobori Enshu also invented a new school, which later split into two schools, and the Sekishu school was also established and flourished. In our Fukui domain:

The ikebana forms were truly beyond admiration, and having seen numerous tea gatherings in various capitals with excellent water arrangements, I thought there could be no one more skilled than this.
Therefore, disciples gradually increased in number, and advanced students multiplied accordingly. Borrowing temples for festivals here and memorial services there, impromptu flower gatherings became popular. Among the skilled advanced disciples were:
