　　　就御半知捨り申由風説国中以之外大騒動然処

現代語訳

御半知となることについて捨てられるという風説で、国中が非常に大騒動となった。しかし札の高額が莫大であるため、御引き替えが難しく実施できず、新札を発行することとし、三分の一に減額して、百文を新札三十三匁に御引き替えとした。

一、延宝三年乙卯年（1675年）
　諸国で大飢饉

一、元禄八年乙亥年（1695年）
　金銀の吹き替え　元の字の金と改まる

一、同十五年壬午年（1702年）
　札銀通用　金屋弥助へ元締めを仰せ付けられる

一、宝永元年甲申年（1704年）

　諸国で札銀停止　再び始まる

英語訳

Due to rumors that the domain would abandon the half-stipend reduction policy, the entire country fell into great turmoil. However, since the amount of paper money in circulation was enormous, exchange proved difficult to implement. New paper money was ordered to be issued, reduced to one-third of the original value, with 100 mon being exchanged for 33 monme of new certificates.

First, Enpō 3rd year, Kinoto-u (1675):
　Great famine struck all provinces

First, Genroku 8th year, Kinoto-i (1695):
　Gold and silver recoinage; changed to gold coins with the character "Gen" (元)

First, Same 15th year, Mizunoe-uma (1702):
　Silver certificates in circulation; Kanaya Yasuke was appointed as head administrator

First, Hōei 1st year, Kinoe-saru (1704):
　Hō-character silver coins were minted

First, Same 4th year, I year (1707):
　Silver certificates suspended in all provinces, then resumed
