以上之面々直垂狩衣大紋着之五半時可致

現代語訳
以上の面々は直垂・狩衣・大紋を着用して、五時半に登城するよう、年寄たちから手紙をもって触れ回した。
ただし御三家と松平加賀守は登城に及ばない。
一、高家衆・詰衆・同じくその嫡子・奏者番・同じくその嫡子・大坂御定番詰衆並びに同じくその嫡子・布衣以上の御役人は、直垂・狩衣・大紋・布衣を着用して、明日五時半に登城するよう、それぞれの方面に伝達した。また法印・法眼の医師も装束を着用して出仕するよう、これもまた伝達した。
ただし無官の面々は登城に及ばない。
一、琉球人登城の度に、四品並びに布衣の面々は足袋を履くよう触れ回すべき旨を、大目付に対しては井上河内守が、御目付に対しては永井伊豆守が書付を渡した。
一、松平薩摩守登城の際、供の者は年始の通りに心得て、琉球人に付き添う家老・用人・目付・留守居は布衣を着用させ、その外の者たちは上下を着用して出仕するよう、書付をもって伝達した。
英語訳
The aforementioned individuals shall wear hitatare, kariginu, or daimon and ascend to the castle at 5:30, as conveyed by letters from the senior retainers.
However, the Gosanke and Matsudaira Kaga-no-kami need not ascend to the castle.
Item: The kōke, tsumeshu, their eldest sons, sōja-ban, their eldest sons, Osaka go-teiban tsumeshu and their eldest sons, and officials of hōi rank or above shall wear hitatare, kariginu, daimon, or hōi and ascend to the castle tomorrow at 5:30, as conveyed to their respective offices. Also, physicians with the ranks of hōin and hōgen should appear in formal court dress, which was also conveyed.
However, those without official rank need not ascend to the castle.
Item: Written instructions were given - by Inoue Kawachi-no-kami to the ōmetsuke and by Nagai Izu-no-kami to the metsuke - that fourth-rank officials and those of hōi rank should be instructed to wear tabi when the Ryukyuans ascend to the castle.
Item: When Matsudaira Satsuma-no-kami ascends to the castle, his retinue should conduct themselves as they do at New Year's; the karō, yōnin, metsuke, and rusu居 accompanying the Ryukyuans should wear hōi, while the other attendants should appear in kamishimo. This was conveyed in writing.
