題初
大哉地理ノ肝要ナルコト。蓋廊廟ニ居テ国事ニ与ル者地理ヲ
不＿レ知トキハ治乱ニ臨テ失有。兵士ヲ提テ征伐ヲ事トスル者地理

偉大なることよ、地理の重要性は。思うに、宮廷にあって国政に参与する者が地理を知らなければ、治乱に臨んで過ちがある。兵士を率いて征伐を事とする者が地理を知らなければ、安危の場において過ちがある。各地を跋渉する者が地理を知らなければ、遅速の際に過ちがある。人々はよく思慮すべきである。これを知ることは難しいことではない。
