島のことである」と語った。また言って曰く「この島は無人島であるが、草木が多いのを見れば不毛とは言い難い。日本より人を送って一州の地として、五穀や産物等を栽培すれば、海が遠くないため大きな利益があるであろう。オランダより商館を設立するには海が遠く、国が小さくて費用に見合わない」と言った。私はハイトの言葉をその通りだと思う。よって再び参考のためにここに記すのみである。無人島略説終わり
