カラフトヨリ蝦夷エ交易スル産物ニ青玉。雕羽。煙管。蟒純。文
繒。綺帛。等アリ其中。青玉ハカラフトノ産也。雕羽ハカラフ
ト及ビ蝦夷ノ産也。煙管ハ韃靼ノ物ト覚ヘテ皆満字ヲ彫
也。蟒純。文繒。綺帛。ハ唐山ノ物也北京ヨリ満州ニ道シテ。カ

現代語訳
カラフトから蝦夷へ交易される産物には青玉、鷲の羽、煙管、蟒蛇の縁飾り、文様のある絹、美しい絹布などがある。その中で、青玉はカラフトの産物である。鷲の羽はカラフトおよび蝦夷の産物である。煙管は韃靼の物と思われ、皆満洲文字を彫っている。蟒蛇の縁飾り、文様のある絹、美しい絹布は中国の物で、北京より満洲を通って、カラフトに至り、宗谷を経て松前に来るのである。しかしながら蝦夷とカラフトの間は、海には隠れ岩が多く、陸には険しい山々が連なって、両方の道とも通行が困難であるため、大規模な交易はなく、わずかに商品を通すだけである。
蝦夷の東海中に千島と称して図書に載るものが三十七島ある。この中で蝦夷と交流するものはただ二つ、クナシリとエトロフである。この三十七島を過ぎて東にまた国があり、カムシカツトカという（蝦夷の言葉で）。

The products traded from Karafuto to Ezo include blue jade, eagle feathers, tobacco pipes, python trim, patterned silk, and fine silk fabrics. Among these, blue jade is a product of Karafuto. Eagle feathers are products of both Karafuto and Ezo. The tobacco pipes appear to be Tartar goods, all carved with Manchu characters. The python trim, patterned silk, and fine silk fabrics are Chinese goods that come from Beijing through Manchuria to Karafuto, then through Soya to Matsumae. However, between Ezo and Karafuto, there are many hidden rocks in the sea and towering mountain ranges on land, making passage difficult by both routes, so there is no large-scale trade, only a small flow of goods.
In the eastern sea of Ezo, there are thirty-seven islands called the Thousand Islands that are recorded in maps and books. Among these, only two have contact with Ezo: Kunashiri and Etorofu. Beyond these thirty-seven islands to the east, there is another country called Kamshikatsutoka (in the Ezo language).
