現代語訳
甲（よろい）を「ヨケベ」と言う。革を三重に綴じたもので、長さは二尺二寸。上部で幅三尺四寸、下部で六尺である。
兜（かぶと）を「コンチ」と言う。また「タカラカウシ」とも言う。
小手は板屋の木を筋金のようにして、木綿に綴じ付けて作る。脛当ても同様である。
英語訳
Armor (yoroi) is called "yokebe." It is made of three layers of leather sewn together, with a length of 2 shaku 2 sun. The width is 3 shaku 4 sun at the top and 6 shaku at the bottom.
A helmet (kabuto) is called "konchi," and also "takarakushi."
Arm guards are made by using itaya wood like metal reinforcing strips and sewing them onto cotton fabric. Shin guards are made in the same manner.
