現代語訳
蝦夷は男女ともに眉毛が一文字に生え続いている。その他、全身に毛が多い。
中級の女性アイヌ。大体このような姿である。
身分の上下に関わらず、男女皆、素足で霜雪や岩石を踏んで少しも痛がることがない。男性アイヌが山に入って獣を狩るのも皆素足である。
