となった。酔った中で一首の謀反の詩を吟じて黄文炳に密告され、事は斬罪に決まって、身を刑場の刃の下に投げ出す時になった。その時、晁蓋・呉用らが駆けつけて首尾よく完全に救い出し、梁山泊に誘われた。托塔天王（晁蓋）が途中で亡くなって、ついに百八人が仁に服し義に傾き、拝して山の首領と仰ぎ尊んだ。宣和二年、天碑が降って梁山泊の百八人が天罡地煞の星であることが道士の読経によって明らかになった。宿太尉の奏上により、完全に天子の大臣となり、遼国の賊を始めとして、河北・淮西・江南を五年七か月で征伐し、国を平定し民を安らかにし、凱歌を奏して武徳太夫楚州安撫使に封じられた。しかし四毒官の酒に倒れて既に天に帰ろうとする時、ひそかに後の汚名を恐れ、李逵を招いて毒酒を飲ませ、共に楚州城の南門外にある蓼児洼に葬送されたのを「忠烈義済霊応侯」と追号された。

The matter resulted in a death sentence, and his body was about to be thrown under the executioner's blade. At that moment, Chao Gai, Wu Yong and others rushed to rescue him completely and successfully, and he was invited to Liangshan Marsh. When the Pagoda-Bearing Heavenly King (Chao Gai) died midway, finally the 108 men submitted to benevolence, inclined toward righteousness, and bowed to revere him as the mountain chief. In the second year of Xuanhe, a heavenly stele descended, and it was revealed through a Taoist's recitation that the 108 men of Liangshan Marsh were stars of the Heavenly Spirits and Earthly Fiends. Through Grand Marshal Su's memorial, he became a complete minister of the Son of Heaven. Beginning with the Liao bandits, he conquered Hebei, Huaixi, and Jiangnan over five years and seven months, pacified the country and brought peace to the people. He played victory songs and was enfeoffed as Military Virtue Grand Master and Pacification Commissioner of Chuzhou. However, when he fell to the wine of the Four Poison Officials and was about to return to heaven, secretly fearing future disgrace, he summoned Li Kui to drink poisoned wine. They were buried together at Liao'er Hollow outside the south gate of Chuzhou City and were posthumously titled "Loyal, Heroic, Righteous, Beneficial, and Spiritually Responsive Marquis."
