宋代において医術を執り行い、扁鵲や華陀にも匹敵する術を持っていたが、巧奴の脚の病気による歩行困難に悩まされ、張順の剣先による薬を得た。ああ、なんという術であろうか、百薬の他にも薬があることを。ただ惜しむべきは、遊女の家の壁の上に血をもって罪を書き記した文字に、舐めて治す医者の舌が及ばないことであろうか。

The Divine Physician An Daoquan
He practiced medicine in the Song dynasty and possessed skills that rivaled those of Bian Que and Hua Tuo, but was troubled by Qiao Nu's leg ailment that hindered her walking, and obtained medicine from Zhang Shun's sword tip. Ah, what marvelous arts these are - that there are medicines beyond the hundred medicines! What is truly regrettable, however, is that the characters written in blood on the wall of the courtesan's house to record sins cannot be reached by the tongue of the licking physician.
