嗜（すく）こと長鯨（ちやうけい）が百川（ひやくせん）たり。私奔（かけおち）なして趙員外（ちやういんぐわい）に身（み）を託（たく）し。五台山（ごだいさん）に
桑門（しゆつけ）と化（なつ）て。法号（ほうごう）を智深（ちしん）と號（ごう）す。背上（せなか）に花（はな）の點墨（いれずみ）ある故（ゆゑ）。或（あるひ）は花（くわ）
和尚（おしやう）と呼讃（よびはや）さる。錫鉢（しやくはつ）水雲（すいうん）の身（み）となつて。東京（とうぎん）大相国寺（たいさうこくじ）に菜園（さいゑん）

この一人は経略府の提轄である。姓は魯、名は達、性格は徹底的に実直であって、酒を好むこと長鯨が百川を飲むようである。駆け落ちをして趙員外に身を託し、五台山で僧となって、法号を智深と号した。背中に花の刺青があるゆえに、ある者は花和尚と呼び讃える。錫杖と鉢を持つ雲水の身となって、東京大相国寺で菜園を管理していた時、大株の柳を根こそぎ抜いて豹子頭を驚かせた。再び諸国を行脚して、九紋龍と義兄弟の盟約を結び、二龍山の宝珠寺で賊の首領となること二年間。ついに天子の臣下となり、四つの逆賊を討つに臨み、河北の田虎の州郡を征討しては、益州城で太守枢密鈕文忠を打ち殺し

This individual was a military commissioner of the Strategic Command. His surname was Lu, given name Da, and his character was thoroughly honest. He loved drinking like a great whale consuming a hundred rivers. After eloping, he entrusted himself to Member of the Gentry Zhao, and became a monk at Mount Wutai, taking the dharma name Zhishen. Because he had flower tattoos on his back, some praised him by calling him the Flowery Monk. Having taken the form of an itinerant monk with staff and bowl, when he was tending the vegetable garden at the Great Xiangguo Temple in the Eastern Capital, he uprooted a large willow tree and amazed the Leopard Head. Again traveling through various provinces, he formed a sworn brotherhood with the Nine-Dragoned, and became a bandit chief at Baozhu Temple on Two-Dragon Mountain for two years. Finally becoming a subject of the emperor, when confronting the campaign against four rebel groups, in conquering the prefectures and counties of Tianhu in Hebei, he killed the Regional Governor and Privy Councilor Niu Wenzhong at Yizhou city.
