此一個（このひとり）は東京（とうざん）八十万 禁軍（きんぐん）鎗棒（そうぼう）教頭（きやうとう）たり。身（み）の長（たけ）八尺（はつしやく）武術（ぶじゆつ）敢（あゑ）て暨（およ）ぶものなし。
其剏（そのはじめ）岳庿（がくへう）詣（もふで）の路癖（みちくさ）に。大相国寺（たいそうこくじ）の菜園（なばたけ）を。密（そ）と闖（さしのぞ）けば吁（あな）珍（めづ）らしや。
丈（たけ）なる 鉄杖（てつじやう）うち振（ふる）僧（そう）あり。投（い）て名（な）を問（とへ）ば魯智深（ろちしん）なり。歓喜（よろこび）斜（なゝめ）なら
ずして。即（すなはち）兄弟（きやうだい）の義（ぎ）を結（むす）べり。世（よ）に忌（いま）わしきは歓後（かんこ）の歎（なげき）。妻（つま）が身（み）の上（うへ）に

《割書：天罡星三十六員のうち天雄星》豹子頭林冲
この一人は東京八十万禁軍の槍棒教頭である。身長八尺で、武術において敵う者はいない。
その始まり、岳廟参詣の道草に、大相国寺の菜園をそっと覗き見ると、ああ珍しいことよ。
背の高い鉄の杖を振るう僧がいる。名前を尋ねてみると�魯智深である。大いに喜んで、
すぐに義兄弟の契りを結んだ。世に忌まわしいのは歓楽の後の嘆き。妻の身の上に
災いが降りかかった。その理由は何かと問うに、人々が毒々しい大尉と震え恐れる、あの高俅の一人息子、
高衙内という悪者がいる。道に背く色欲を好んで、今林冲の妻に迫った。
しばしば口説いたが貞節は崩れず、ほとほと情欲を燃やしている折から陸謙らの悪知恵があって、
