摸様（さま）あるゆゑ。混名（あだな）とするも理（ことはり）なり。諸郡（しよぐん）の豪傑（がうけつ）を訪尋（とひたづ）ねんと。武（ふ）を𨂻（ふみ）【蹈】
文（ぶん）を渉來（わたりき）て。蘓州（そしう）山中（さんちゆう）に一清（いつせい）先生（せんせい）の教（おしへ）を承（うけ）歓喜（よろこん）で梁山泊（りやうさんはく）に
臻（いたらん）ずる途（みち）。沂水縣（きすいけん）の境上（きやうせう）に。神行大保（しんかうたいほ）が走（はし）るを怪（あやし）み。偕（とも）に話（かたつ）て

《割書：地煞星七十二員之内 地暗星》錦豹子楊林
この人物は彰德府の出身である。丸い頭、大きな耳、まっすぐな鼻、四角い口、清らかな眉、美しい目をしており、まさに錦豹子（美しいヒョウ）のような様子があるため、あだ名とするのも道理である。各地の豪傑を訪ね求めようと、武芸を踏み、学問を渡り歩いて、蘇州山中で一清先生の教えを受け、喜んで梁山泊に至ろうとする途中、沂水県の境で神行太保が走るのを不思議に思い、共に語って宋公明らを慕うこと、磁石が南に向かうようであった。再び公孫勝の山に到着する。その道の途中、飲馬川の山寨から鄧飛、孟康らを誘い出し、水泊の義廳に加わって、勇を海鰍船で奮う時は、左義衛親軍の丘岳の生首を抜いて軍功を示した。陣前無敵の英雄である。

This person is from Zhangde Prefecture. He has a round head, large ears, straight nose, square mouth, clear eyebrows, and beautiful eyes, truly resembling a jinbao zi (brocade leopard) in appearance, so it is reasonable that this became his nickname. Seeking to visit heroes from various regions, he traveled through martial arts and literature, and in the mountains of Suzhou received the teachings of Master Yiqing. Joyfully heading toward Liangshan Marsh, at the border of Yishui County, he found it strange to see the Divine Traveler running. Speaking together, their admiration for Song Gongming and others was like a magnetic needle pointing south. He arrived again at Gongsun Sheng's mountain. Midway on that journey, he lured out Deng Fei, Meng Kang and others from the mountain stronghold at Yinma River, and joining the righteous hall of the water marsh, when he displayed his courage on the sea loach ships, he took the living head of Qiu Yue of the Left Guard親軍 and demonstrated his military glory. He is a hero invincible before the battle formation.
