此一個（このいつこ）は金陵（きんれう）建康府（けんかうふ）の人（ひと）なり。弱（よわき）を顧（み）ては泫然（げんぜん）として助（たすけ）。剛（つよ）きに■（あふ）【面＋當】ては忿（ふん）
然（ぜん）として打懲（うちこら）す。是（これ）を稱（せう）して流俗（よのひと）は。捨命三郎（しやめいさむらう）と混名（あだな）せり。釜（かま）を破（やぶ）り舟（ふね）を焼（やひ）て

路（みち）を偕（とも）にし梁山泊（りやうさんばく）に走（はし）るの次（とまり）。祝家（しゆくか）の災（わざはひ）起（おこ）りしも宋公（さうかう）等（ら）が助（たすけ）を得（え）たり
北京（ほくきん）に酒樓（しゆらう）を跳（とん）では盧俊義（ろしゆんぎ）を救（すく）ひ寶嚴寺（ほうがんじ）に塔（とう）を焼（やい）ては蘓州城（そしうせう）を責（せめ）
落（おと）す殺氣（さつき）凛々然（りん〳〵ぜん）として身（み）終（おふ）るまで勇（ゆう）を减（げん）ぜず

《割書：天罡星三十六員のうち天慧星》 捨命三郎 石秀
この人物は金陵建康府の人である。弱い者を見ては涙を流して助け、強い者に出会っては怒りを燃やして打ち懲らしめる。これを称して世の人は、捨命三郎というあだ名をつけている。釜を破り舟を焼いて故郷を去り、蘇州に来てますます落ちぶれた。城下で薪を商っていた時、張保ら数十人を打ちのめして楊雄の難を除き、義兄弟となって、彼の家に仮住まいした。法要の席での不倫を憎み、悪僧如海を斬り殺して楊雄の迷いを解いた。翠屏山で女を害させ、時遷と三人で道を共にして梁山泊に走った後、祝家の災いが起こったが宋公らの助けを得た。北京で酒楼から飛び降りては盧俊義を救い、宝厳寺で塔を焼いては蘇州城を攻め落とした。殺気凛々として身が終わるまで勇気を減じることがなかった。

《Marginal note: Among the thirty-six members of the Tiangang Stars, the Tianhui Star》 Life-Risking Third Son Shi Xiu
This person was from Jinling, Jiankang Prefecture. When he saw the weak, he would shed tears and help them; when he encountered the strong, he would burn with anger and strike them down. For this, people gave him the nickname "Life-Risking Third Son." He broke his pots and burned his boats to leave his hometown, came to Suzhou and became increasingly destitute. While selling firewood below the city, he beat down Zhang Bao and dozens of others, removing Yang Xiong's troubles, became sworn brothers with him, and took temporary residence in his house. Hating the adultery at the memorial service, he killed the evil monk Ruhai and resolved Yang Xiong's confusion. After having the woman killed at Cuiping Mountain, he traveled the road together with Shi Qian as a group of three and fled to Liangshan Marsh. When the Zhu family's disaster arose, they received help from Song Gong and others. In Beijing, he leaped from wine towers to rescue Lu Junyi, and at Baoyan Temple, he burned the pagoda to attack and capture Suzhou City. His killing intent remained fierce and undiminished until the end of his life.
