差上申一札之事
一 当村石切之儀村中取調書上仕候処此外
壱人茂無御座候
一 石切稼ニ罷出旅先ニ而石切弟子等召抱不申候
猶又旅先実躰ニ相廻り可申候様具ニ申聞候処
一々承知仕候若此上ニ茂不吟味成儀有之候而
後日御聞被成候ハヽ其元ゟ早速御注進可被成候
其上如何様之御咎筋被 仰付候共少茂
御恨無御座候為後日連印証文仍而

差し上げ申し上げる一札の件
一、当村の石切の件について村中で調べ書き上げいたしましたところ、この他に一人もおりません。
一、石切が稼業のために出かけた旅先において石切の弟子等を雇い入れることはいたしません。なお、旅先での実情について詳しく報告するよう具体的に申し聞かせましたところ、一々承知いたしました。もしこの上にも不注意な事柄があって、後日お聞きになられましたら、そちらから早速ご報告くださいますよう、その上でどのようなお咎めを仰せ付けられましても少しも恨みはございません。後日のために連名で印を押した証文として、よって件の如し。

Document of Submission
Article 1: Regarding the stonecutters of our village, we have investigated and compiled a list throughout the village, and there is no one else beyond these.
Article 2: The stonecutters shall not employ disciples or apprentices at their travel destinations where they go to work. Furthermore, we have instructed them in detail to report thoroughly on the actual conditions at their travel destinations, and they have acknowledged each point. Should there be any negligent matters hereafter that come to your attention later, please report immediately from your end. Even if any form of punishment is imposed upon us, we harbor no resentment whatsoever. This document with joint seals serves as proof for future reference. Therefore, as stated above.
