一 此小冊を撰むのはじめ異体（いてい）百品（ひやくひん）と数（かず）を定たれば稿（かう）

1. When compiling this booklet, I initially set the number at one hundred varieties of unusual forms, but after completing the manuscript, I will gather the variants I have seen this year and next year to subsequently publish a second volume.
