公儀油絞方主法改革被仰出候に付御当国江
相当り候分御ケ條を以昨二月触渡候通に而御国中
取究向之義者御評義之上追而可触知候条右様
相心得惣而油稼之儀去る子年取調相稼候者者
先是迄之通相稼候様申付有之処今度先為御試
左之通御取究被仰付候に付此段相触候条夫々
心得違無之様其方共組村浦何者によらす逸々触知らせ
油稼仕候者共請書取揃可指出候此状披見順達済ゟ

宝暦度油株所持之者共勿論居々申付其余油株
稼来候者者稼差留候条此段可申渡候事

候得とも尚又右者共之内油稼仕度存志之者者
株居之義早々願出候様可申付候事
現代語訳
幕府より油絞り方主法改革が仰せ出されたことに付き、当国に該当する分について箇条書きをもって昨年二月に触れ渡した通りであり、国中における取り調べ向きの件については評議の上、追って触れ知らせる予定である。右のように心得て、総じて油稼ぎの件については去る子年（文政十一年）に取り調べて稼いでいる者は先例まで通り稼ぐよう申し付けてあるところ、今度まずは御試しとして左の通り取り調べを仰せ付けられたので、この段触れ知らせる。それぞれ心得違いのないよう、そちら共組村浦何れによらず逐一触れ知らせ、油稼ぎを仕る者共の請書を取り揃えて指し出すこと。この状を披見の上、順次送達を済ませてから差し戻すこと。以上

一、市郷人力稼ぎの者、文政十一子年取り調べ有りの軒数の内、宝暦度油株所持の者共は勿論居付けを申し付け、その余の油株稼ぎ来たりし者は稼ぎを差し留める。この段申し渡すべき事。
一、文政度取り調べの節、無株で稼ぎ来たりし者共は前段の通り差し留めるが、なお又右の者共の内で油稼ぎを仕りたく存ずる志の者は、株居の件を早々願い出るよう申し付けるべき事。

The shogunate has issued an order regarding reforms to the main laws concerning oil pressing, and as this applies to our domain, we issued notifications through written articles last February as stated. Regarding the investigation matters throughout the domain, we will issue further notifications after deliberation. With this understanding, concerning oil production in general, those who were investigated and engaged in oil production in the recent Year of the Rat (Bunsei 11) have been ordered to continue their operations as before. However, this time, as a trial measure, the following investigation has been ordered, so we hereby issue this notification. Each of you must ensure there are no misunderstandings, and regardless of whether it concerns organized villages or coastal settlements, notify everyone individually. Collect and submit the pledge documents from those engaged in oil production. After reviewing this document and completing the sequential transmission, return it. The above.

Regarding those engaged in manual labor oil production in market towns, among the number of establishments investigated in Bunsei 11 Year of the Rat, those who possess oil licenses from the Hōreki era shall naturally be permitted to remain in operation, while others who have been engaged in licensed oil production shall cease their operations. This matter shall be communicated.
