やう殿といふ人のもとへおとしをきたりこの
人しひしん【慈悲心】ふかくおはしけれは世にふひん
なることにしたまひてやしなひをかれけ
れはとしのかさなるにしたかひちゑさいかく
人にすくれたることたとへんかたなしさては
たゝ人にてはなしとて十三のとし出家せ
させけれはそのかくもん【学問】のそうめいなること
千人にもすくれたりさて廿一になるとき

藤原の宰相殿という人のもとへ落として置いて行きました。この人は慈悲心が深くいらっしゃったので、世に不思議なことだと思われて養い育てられました。年が重なるにつれて知恵才覚が人に優れていることは例えようがありませんでした。これはただの人ではないということで、十三歳の時に出家させられました。その学問の聡明なことは千人にも優れていました。そして二十一歳になる時、帝の帰依を受けて僧正に任じられ、叡慮を一身に受けてこの大伽藍
