一御家老中御役御免之節は御門〳〵江以来不及下座旨可申付事且又毛屋繰舟番之儀は御水主頭へ

一同八未九月廿七日岡部左膳方御役御免之節右当りを以其通り取斗候事

知行取御番改役不被仰付故右之通之由此段多左衛門へ次之席に而所左衛門ゟ可申聞旨被申聞候
但十一月十六日多左衛門月番十郎右衛門へ申聞候は永田助三儀親市郎左衛門休息被仰付家督百石助三へ被下候砌御番改
之儀其侭相勤候様に可被仰付哉と其節相伺候処先其通に被仰付候由御家老中申聞候旨云々

申候格式御役料共只今迄之通被仰付候旨 但是迄も初姫様御用掛り也

一同年十月廿三日御家老芦田下野方長々病気候処今日於御前御伺之上御役御免座席前々之通被仰付候御門所下座狛伊勢之通
出仕之儀は表にて被相勤候筈之旨与三左衛門方被申聞候然ル処翌日御使者月番彦坂又兵衛へ被申越候は出仕之節表御玄関ゟ可
罷出儀に候処御存之通病気故歩行も不自由に而侍中大勢被詰居候所罷通候儀致迷惑候間中之口ゟ罷出候様仲ヶ
現代語訳
一、御使番役を御免になった後、跡役がまだ仰せ付けられていないが、役の指物を御武具方へ納めた例。文化五辰年のように、このようなことは前の御役を仰せ付けられた部に出ている。
一、享和元酉五月八日、鈴木百助が御奉行役を御免になり、未だ番外を仰せ付けられた。よって席の入れ替えのことを絵奉行都築三郎右衛門へ申し伝えた。
一、御家老中が御役御免の節は、御門々へ以後下座に及ばない旨を申し付けるべきこと。また毛屋繰舟番のことは御水主頭へその段を申し遣わすこと。
一、文化元子六月十三日、本多修理方の御役御免の節はこのとおり
一、同八未九月二十七日、岡部左膳方の御役御免の節も右に当たりこのとおり取り計らったこと

一、文化三寅八月十二日
自分が年も寄り、役のことが難儀であろうから 渡辺十郎左衛門
思し召しにつき御役御免になった。年来出精して相勤め大儀に
思し召される。よって席・御足高はこれまでのとおり。なお以後の御取り扱い方のことは
御中老共が申し聞かせる。そのように心得るべし。
渡辺十郎左衛門が御懇意の上御役御免になったにつき
御召御帷子一つを下し置かれた。また以後折々機嫌を 水谷織部
伺うため、勝手次第で御右筆部屋まで出ることができる。もっとも 宇都宮勘解由
御本丸御座所共に中の口から往来するよう仰せ出された。その段を申し渡すべし。
これにつき御門々へ下座のことはこれまでのとおり下座するようそれぞれ申し付けた。
一、享保十二未七月十九日、木村太郎兵衛が筏町松岡御下屋敷預かりのところ、御下屋敷が御用でないにつき御役御免、表御番等を相勤めるよう申し渡すべき旨を中川主膳へ右衛門方宅にて申し渡した。
下
一、同十三申十二月二十六日、狛伊勢方宅において永田一郎左衛門が御番改役御免の旨を皆川多左衛門へ申し渡した。これは今知行取の御番改役を仰せ付けられていないゆえ右のとおりの由。この段を多左衛門へ次の席にて所左衛門から申し聞かせるべき旨を申し聞かせた。
ただし十一月十六日、多左衛門月番が十郎右衛門へ申し聞かせたのは、永田助三が親市郎左衛門の休息を仰せ付けられ、家督百石を助三へ下された砌、御番改のことをそのまま相勤めるよう仰せ付けられるかと、その節相伺ったところ、先ずそのとおりに仰せ付けられた由を御家老中が申し聞かせた旨云々

一、同年正月十六日、御奉行蟹江善右衛門が長々御役を相勤めたによって御役を御免になり、初姫様御用筋を相勤めるべし。格式・御役料共に今までのとおり仰せ付けられた旨。ただしこれまでも初姫様御用掛かりである。

一、同十五戌十月二十二日、狛伊勢方御役御免、先の酒井玄蕃のとおり。ただし与頭はこれまでのとおり重き御用があれば御指加・御頼みされるべき旨を仰せ出された。よって御門所下座はこれまでのとおり。御触れも先の玄蕃のとおり、上書を狛伊勢殿とし、分触れにて組の者に持たせ差し越すよう同役申し談じて相極めた。

Article 1: When a messenger was relieved of duties, although no successor had yet been appointed, the role insignia were delivered to the armory. This follows the precedent from Bunka 5 (1808), as recorded in the section on previous appointments.
Article 1: On the 8th day of the 5th month of Kyowa 1 (1801), Suzuki Hyakusuke was relieved of magistrate duties and appointed to non-guard status. Accordingly, the seat rearrangement was communicated to painting magistrate Tsuzuki Saburoemon.
Article 1: When senior councilors are relieved of duties, instructions should be given to the gates that they need no longer perform the lower seat ceremony. Also, regarding the boat guard duties at the hair shop, this matter should be communicated to the head of naval personnel.

Since Watanabe Jurozaemon was relieved of duties with great consideration,
he was granted one ceremonial summer garment. Also, hereafter he may Water Valley Oribe
visit the secretaries' room at his discretion to pay respects. Utsunomiya Kageyu
He is permitted to use the middle gate for travel to and from the main castle.
This should be communicated accordingly.
Regarding this, instructions were given to the respective gates to continue the lower seat ceremony as before.
Article 1: On the 19th day of the 7th month of Kyoho 12 (1727), Kimura Tarobie, who was in charge of the Matsuka lower residence at Ikada-machi, was relieved of duties as the lower residence was no longer needed for official use. Instructions to serve in the front guard were communicated to Nakagawa Shuzen at the residence.

Article 1: On the 26th day of the 12th month of the same 13th year, at the residence of Koma Ise, Nagata Ichirozaemon was informed of his relief from guard inspection duties through Minagawa Tazaemon. This was because he had not been appointed to a stipend-holder guard inspection role, hence this procedure. Tazaemon was instructed to communicate this to Shozaemon at the next meeting.
However, on the 16th day of the 11th month, monthly duty officer Tazaemon informed Juroemon that regarding Nagata Sukesabu, whose father Ichirozaemon was granted retirement and whose family headship of 100 koku was transferred to Sukesabu, when inquired whether he should continue guard inspection duties as before, the senior councilors communicated that he should first be appointed accordingly.

Article 1: On the 16th day of the 1st month of the same year, magistrate Kanie Zenemon, having served in his role for a long time, was relieved of duties and appointed to serve Princess Hatsuhime's affairs. His rank and salary were ordered to remain as before. Note: He had been assigned to Princess Hatsuhime's affairs previously as well.

Article 1: On the 22nd day of the 10th month of the same 15th year, Koma Ise was relieved of duties, following the precedent of Sakai Genba. However, it was declared that as unit commander, he should continue to be called upon for important duties as before. Therefore, the lower seat ceremony at gate posts continues as before. Official notifications also follow Genba's precedent, with documents addressed to "Lord Koma Ise" and sent through subordinates via separate notifications, as agreed upon among colleagues.
Article 1: On the 22nd day of the 7th month of the same 17th year, inspector Kozuki Buzaemon was relieved of duties and granted a basic stipend of 300 koku. This matter appears in the inspector general affairs section.
