預かった上で直ちに病死の届けを申し上げ、追って日数三十日ほど経った上で、親某の跡目として息子某へ充行十二石三人扶持を下され置かれ、小算に仰せ付けられる段を仰せ渡される事
但し親が十石の小役人であれば十石の跡目で小算に仰せ付けられる事
一一統格の者が大病を患った節、その身に暇を相願い、息子をどのようにでも召し出し下され置かれるよう相願えば、親某病気願いの上で暇を下され、息子某と申す者へ充行十石三人扶持を下され置かれ、小算に召し出される段を仰せ渡される事
一跡目小算の者も右同断の取り扱い
一御取立小算の者が大病を患った節の願いは右同様であるが、勤め切りで年数のある者は小算仲間から相願って直ちに小算に召し出されることもある
但しこれは甚だ稀なことで一人位ある由
一年数も勤功もない者は息子を諸下代へ仰せ付け、添下代になれば勝手役仮預かりに仰せ付けられる事

After taking charge, immediately report the death from illness, and after about thirty days have passed, the son shall be appointed as successor to parent so-and-so, granted a stipend of 12 koku and support for 3 persons, and appointed as an accountant, as shall be announced
However, if the parent was a minor official with 10 koku, the succession shall be appointed as accountant with 10 koku
One: When those of unified rank fall seriously ill, if they request leave for themselves and petition that their sons be summoned and granted positions in some capacity, then after the parent's illness petition, leave shall be granted and the son shall be granted a stipend of 10 koku and support for 3 persons and summoned as an accountant, as shall be announced
One: Those who are succession accountants receive the same treatment as above
One: When specially appointed accountants fall seriously ill, petitions are handled in the same manner as above, but for those who have served their full term with years of service, they may be summoned directly as accountants upon petition from their fellow accountants
However, this is extremely rare, with only about one such case
One: Those without years of service or merit have their sons appointed to various clerk positions, and when they become assistant clerks, they are appointed as temporary deputies in financial roles
